I have a WONDERFUL Mother!

My Grandma Sara used to say to us grandchildren "Now repeat after me, I have a wonderful Grandma!" And we would all chime in and say it right back to her, because it was true. We did have a wonderful Grandma. I've never met anyone that didn't love my Grandma Sara. The same can be said of the woman who gave birth to me.

And today is her birthday.
This post is dedicated to my Mom.This is her senior picture. Can you say babe-0-licious? When I was in high school some of my guy friends saw this picture and told me my Mom is a hottie.

My Mom is a chip off the old Grandma Sara block. She walks like Grandma, she dances like Grandma, she loves like Grandma, and she even drives like Grandma! :) That is a compliment, Grandma Sara is probably one of the most faithful, loving, kind, genuine, supportive women I know and my Mom is just like her.
I feel very blessed to have a Mother who is not only my Mom, but my friend, example, and role model. She is completely unselfish, she always puts others' needs before her own. We call her Mary Poppins, for she really is practically perfect in every way. I am excited for my own children to have a Grandma they can truly call wonderful. If I can be even half the woman she is someday, I'll be set.
I love you Mom! Happy Birthday!

Now what did you have to go and do that? Now I have tears on the keyboard. Just hope I can be as good as you think!

Happy Birthday to your angel mother! Her response reminds me of my mom's after my bday post for her. Peas in a pod. Love your sweet mom.

Happy Birthday to Aunt Shauna, who is a WONDERFUL aunt.

But when you say she drives like Grandma Sara, all I can think of is driving with her on Foothill going 20 mph with the left turn blinker on the whole way.

Ah . . . I miss Grandma.

You look just like your mom...which in turn makes you a hottie too! :)

P.S. My dad's bday is that day...and I didn't post anything nice about him. Guess I'm not that great a daughter, huh? ha ha.

First off, your Mom is such a little hottie. I'm sure you miss her a lot. I love your stories. I just love the way you tell them. You are the dang coolest. And I love that you called yourself a goober on my blog. It's funny that you say that because Meg and I actually called you a goober that night...hahaha...just kidding! We actually talked about how dang cool you are and how we should definitely hang out. Oh, and I know I said this a gazillion times on Wednesday night, but thanks for coming to preview night. It's not always the most fun to watch because it's our first time performing for an audience, but I was so glad you guys were there!
