To the technologically savvy blog people-aka not me, and not my Mom either :)- Does anyone know how to make it so the written part of the blog is wider? I feel like there is so much wasted space, I want to make it so you don't have to scroll so much to read a post. Any ideas?

hey nat!! Hey kinda funny that you asked about blogging help! I had a friend just help me with a cool website: http://tips-for-new-bloggers.blogspot.com/ See if that helps at all.
By the way, I had goosebumps everywhere reading the temple bag story! That was unbelievable! I served my mission in Brazil so thats so neat that your grandma worked in the temple down there. :) YAY! I HAVE to let my mom read this...she works in the temple and would love to hear it. I think you and your hubby are the cutest thing. I look at your blog through emily or holly's blog once in a blue moon! You're so dang cute! Love ya! Brianne Redding Call :)
If you're ok with a more plain background, you go to customize, then pick new template, then pick minima stretch of some kind. That will stretch out your template so that there is more writing room. I could go into more detail, so if you have more questions, email me! love, love!
Have you already solved this problem? I have played with my blog layout a lot and that was one thing I did too was widen the main body. If you go to Edit HTML and comb through the mumbo jumbo to find the spot that says: #main-wrapper { then that's where you can control how wide it is. Right under #main-wrapper there's an option that says width. I just kept typing numbers in there until I was satisfied with the spacing (mine's currently at 690 px.
If this is way confusing I'd be happy to show you sometime. Emily and I keep talking about a "blog day" where we can play with our blogs and personalize them and all that fun stuff. Maybe we could all get together.
