Better Late Than Never

Well this is just a shout out to everybody giving you all an update for your delectation and delight! I moved up to Salt Lake in early August. Things with my girlfriend were going so well that I decided that now would be a great time to transfer to the University of Utah, which is something that I've been wanting to do since I returned home from my mission almost three years ago. It's just amazing to me that it wasn't until I started dating Natalie that I actually dared to go through with the transfer!
I have an apartment downtown Salt Lake, and I have 2 roommates. One of which served in Copenhagen with me. He was in the office when I was recouperating from when Bruno started acting up. I really enjoy both of my roommates, they're great guys. The best part, is that I don't waste all of my time cleaning up after them like I did at my old apartment! Both of them work full time while going to school so they're hardly ever home before 8:00 p.m.
I've been trying to find a good job that would work well with my school schedule, and that would look good on a resume, and not a teller position. Finally I was offered a job working for Wells Fargo doing mortgage loans. I'm a field rep. so I don't have a set schedule, so in essence I work when I want! I have a base salary for the first three months which is much more than what I'm used to so I'm really looking forward to that. They're going to provide me with a laptop, and my own office at the branch that I'll be working out of. The best part is that they're going to fly me out to Denver in November for training for a few days! I'm really excited about that because I've always wanted to go to Denver! I've driven past it, so this will be a totally different experience! I'm just a little nervous about getting into the mortgage industry when things are so crazy! I'm hoping that I'll be able to at least make the quota of three loans a month within the next 5 months.
Things with Natalie are still amazing. I love her so much! I honestly spend my day just looking forward to seeing her again. She really has a hold on me. We drove out to Oregon for my grandpa's birthday party. She and I both had a great time. I loved being able to spend so much time with her on that trip. She and I went fishing with my dad and my uncle Larry. We rented a trolling boat, and spent the whole day fishing! It was awesome because I took the life vests, and all of our jackets, and made a little sofa thing in the front of the boat, so Natalie and I spent the whole day cuddling! I was holding onto the fishing pole in the one hand, and holding her in the
other hand, it was awesome!

"I don't like that's spooky!!!"
Anyway, I'll be sure to update this a little more regularly from here on out so I wont have to type so much next time. Have it good til next time.

I'm not sure your grandmother would appreciate you saying you alwyas had to clean up after her while you two were roommates. I'm pretty sure it was the other way around!
